The most things it failed to do is to keep the viewers' engagement with the characters. Some of these characters is lacking strong qualities of dimention in their traits. It did not deliver the scare factor, and if it did, the execution is not strong enough. Imagine a war without any explosion, no damage dealt, and no one have gotten into a serious war shock after the climatic commotions – this is how I felt watching this movie. In this third Annabelle movie's case, the potential of its story is wasted because of continuous cheap scare-centric. In the movie, Judy is a brave, relatable protagonist who confronts the evil surrounding her home with strength and determination.

She wanted to communicate with the spirit of her dead father, who died in a car accident that she felt was her fault. Ultimately, she got the closure she needed via Conjuring veteran Lorraine Warren. Verified reviews are considered more trustworthy by fellow moviegoers.

In any other horror movie, the two might have been portrayed as teens who were annoyed to be given the task of taking care of the younger Judy. Instead, both came off as though they enjoyed being in her presence and wanted to help her with her problems at school and in her life. By the end, all three felt like truly close friends who would have bonded even if they had not been through the horrific experience that they survived together.

If the plot of the film goes as I predicted, I won’t be surprised if Madison Iseman and Katie Sarife as Mary Ellen and Daniella Rios too reprise their roles in the next one. The end credits start with a dedication to the real-life Lorraine Warren, who died shortly before this film's release.

Future
It didn't take long before I started to lose interest in the movie and had my phone out instead. The storyline was so simplistic and straightforward that even a dead person could keep up here. There were no surprises along the way, and director used every page of 'how-to-make-a-generic-horror-movie' to the fullest.

It's one of several touches in an effective horror movie -- where no humans die -- that audience members feel their heartstrings pulled while their nerves also are tested. Not all horror movies should aspire to be as emotional or sentimental as Annabelle Comes Home, but if more were as rich in character development, it would truly be a better thing for the genre. The Conjuring started as the story of a haunted farmhouse in Rhode Island and grew into a series of spinoffs, prequels, and sequels, including The Nun and Annabelle.
He has also co-produced several of the films in there along with WB under his production banner ‘Atomic Monster’, so I fully expect him to play that role again along with writing credits. The same may also be said for Peter Safran, who will also presumably produce all future instalments. Though Annabelle herself is a significant part of the film, she’s not the only entity wreaking havoc in the Warrens’ home. The introduction of new ghosts and evil spirits in this movie adds another layer to the Conjuring Universe. First debuting in 2013, The Conjuring has quickly become one of the most iconic horror franchises of the decade. The movies follow the real-life paranormal investigations of Ed and Lorraine Warren, a pair of demonologists whose work has been the subject of numerous books, television shows, and films.

After Bob arrives and asks Mary Ellen out on a date, he is attacked by the hellhound, and hides in the chicken coop in the Warrens' backyard. Mary Ellen is attacked and dragged by the Ferryman, while Judy is confronted by Annabelle in her bedroom. When Daniela goes to return the artifacts room's key, she becomes trapped inside the room and tormented by a monkey toy and an old television that can predict the near future.
Annabelle Comes Home is the third installment in the Annabelle series and sees the Warrens take the possessed doll to their own home in an attempt to contain the evil entity. Daniela finds the door's key in the Warren's home office and starts exploring and touching artifacts, ultimately trying to contact her late father with an artifact called the Mourner's Bracelet. She accidentally leaves Annabelle's glass case unlocked after hearing a knock that makes her think that her father is attempting to communicate. The terror begins shortly afterward with a knock at the front, but there's no one there. That night, Annabelle begins releasing other spirits, such as the Ferryman, the Bride, cursed samurai armor, a Feeley Meeley board game, and a hellhound.

There is not only a potential for future movies to focus on these spirits but also a large opportunity to explore their individual histories and origins. Annabelle Comes Home would not be as effective without the added intricacy and creatures. The film mainly trades inThe Conjuring series' tried-and-tested jump scares, with long sequences of expected build-up leading to a jolt from the sudden appearance of the doll or a spirit. However, no official confirmations have been made until now, so it might be a while before we can get a hook on that news.
We learn more about her struggles as the Warren’s daughter, dealing with bullying and a lack of understanding from her peers. She finds friendship in Mary Ellen, her babysitter, and Mary Ellen’s friend Daniela. The three are the primary characters in the film and must deal with the repercussions of Daniela opening Annabelle’s case and unleashing the evil spirits. Though met with somewhat mixed reviews, Annabelle Comes Home stands out from other entries in the series.
